Jerry Hennessy: A man full of wit, dirty jokes, beer, hot air, and now, the title of CCA Bocce Ball champion!!
It was a night to remember for Hennessy and his familial team, which consisted of his son Ben and his lovely girlfriend, as well as his daughter and rising CCA-Flag football star Kellie Hennessy. Coming into the tournament as the two seed, hopes were high but expectations were held in check, as the competition was tough and the Hennessys knew it. As they made quick work of the six seeded Touching Balls in the semis, team Boccelism could do nothing but sit and drink as they waited for their championship opponent. Finally after a 3 game series, 4 Chicks No Hammer emerged as the contender. But were Jerry Hennessy and family ready? After all, the night was growing longer, the arthritic cramps were setting in, and the beer was running low. Would they have enough fuel? The answer was an astounding yes as Hennessy and Co. won the 3 game set and claimed their place atop the podium!! Congratulations to Boccelism on their win and CCA looks forward to a title defense in the fall league!
